I’ve been interested in personal growth and spirituality my entire life. I’ve read books on these topics since I was a teenager and have dabbled with meditation, energy healing, and the development of my intuition off and on for decades. But it wasn’t until I got the book, Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself by Dr. Joe Dispenza, that I felt as if I could throw away all the other books I’d accumulated over the years because I’d finally found the one book that was effective in helping me successfully change my life.
At the beginning of last year (2018), I re-read Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself and committed to a “real” meditation practice. Shortly after starting the exercises and the meditations included in the text, I noticed not only a measurable change in myself and my attitudes and emotions but in my son’s as well! Since then, I’ve continued my meditation practice and have attended two of Dr. Dispenza’s miraculous week long meditation workshops for advanced students. It’s been an amazing journey of change and growth so far, and I feel as though it’s only the beginning!
If you’re not familiar with Dr. Joe’s work, please check out Lewis Howe’s interview with him that I’ve included above — it’s a wonderful overview of his work, and his enthusiasm is infectious. It’s obvious that he has embodied the concepts he writes about, and I can’t recommend his books and workshops enough. So if you’re serious about changing your life, healing yourself, or beginning a meditation practice, his work might speak to you as much as it has me!
And, just to put this out there…I am in no way connected to Dr. Dispenza and do not receive any type of commission for recommending his books and services.
