Gold Wire Mandala in Turquoise

Now that we’re moving solidly into fall, I thought it was time to bring some darker colors into my designs. One of my latest mandalas is a combination of colors — turquoise, green, light blue, orange, rust, and red — worked together on a black background and highlighted with a lacework of gold wire.

Floral Purple Mandala in the New Work Spotlight

This week’s design is Floral Purple Mandala, a 24-spoked mandala in purple, green, and white — shown above as an aluminum disk print available at Curioos (no longer available).

This fresh and fun mandala design would work equally well in a variety of rooms — sunroom, nursery, or even the front porch. Whether it’s the beach (below left, beach towel from Society6, no longer available) or the bathroom (below right, bath mat from Redbubble), this light, bright, lovely mandala will spruce up any space!

A peaceful combination of light greens, light blues, and white make this mandala a lovely choice for bedrooms, nurseries, kids rooms, and more. Grey Threads Mandala — New Design This Week

In the new work spotlight this week, Grey Threads Mandala, shown above as a framed art print from Curioos (no longer available).

This design is reminiscent of a crocheted doily with thin white threads over a light grey background. The neutral color palette and airy feel make this a wonderful and easy addition to any space whether it’s the bedroom, nursery, living room, or outdoor patio.
